Alayna Tucker

Alayna Tucker earned her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Equity at the University of Michigan. As a CNA at UW Health, she supported patients and learned from their experiences firsthand, sparking her interest in health equity. She is particularly interested in exploring how social and health systems contribute to medical mistrust and distrust in communities and using research to inform programs and policies that improve outcomes for patients and communities
