Balvindar Singh

Balvindar Singh is a cardiology fellow at the University of Pittsburgh and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Scientifically he is interested in investigating the connections between the nervous system and cardiac system in healthy and disease states, particularly focused on conduction system abnormalities and heart failure. He is hoping to integrate his scientific interests and clinical interests through additional training in electrophysiology. Recent work with Dr. Essien has centered upon the investigation of how insurance coverage and copay impacts access and adherence to new and emerging heart failure therapies.
